Jason Sebastian Russo has been touring and making records since the 1990’s, most notably with the bands Hopewell, Mercury Rev, Common Prayer and Kevin Devine. Inhabiting a genre largely known for its sweeping psychedelia and cinematic take on rock music, it wasn’t a giant leap for him to start composing for television and film. 

In the past 10+ years, Jason has composed for a wide variety of projects, including fashion commercials, award winning movies, and even a nature documentary scored in surround sound for the University of Alaska's planetarium.
